UrbanAmerica LP announced that Thomas Poitevent has joined the firm as vice president of project management. Poitevent's duties include portfolio asset management of hospitality, commercial office, retail and residential properties, as well as project management, project scheduling, project logistics, project budgeting, cost estimating and contract negotiation.

Most recently, Poitevent served as director of project management & technical services on international projects for the St. Regis & The Luxury Group Brands of Starwood Hotels.

Poitevent previously worked as the director of design & construction, as well as the area director of engineering and associate of the executive management group for HAI Advisors. Prior to that, he was the project manager and estimator at Construction Related Services. He also help positions at Vaughan Construction; Quality Constructors; Commercial Constructors Inc.; and Hichcock-Ross He has a Business Degree from North Texas State University.
