The Blackstone Group announcement the appointment of Michael Nash as a senior managing director in the firm's Real Estate Group. Nash's principal role will be the development of new business initiatives within the real estate sector.
Nash was formerly with Merrill Lynch for ten years where he led the firm's Real Estate Principal Investment Group--Americas. Before joining Merrill he was senior vice president at Barclays Bank and prior to Barclays he originated and structured real estate loans for the Bank of Nova Scoria.
