Veteran real estate executive Michael A. SzoHosi has joined Cohen Brothers Realty Corporation as chief operating officer and senior vice president of the company. He most recently served as COO of Macklowe Properties. In his new post, Mr. Szollosi will oversee a diverse commercial real estate portfolio that includes over 12 million square feet of Class A Manhattan office buildings as well as prominent showroom and design centers in New York, Florida, West Los Angeles and Houston. During a remarkable career, Mr. Szollosi spent 14 years with Corporate Property Investors, where he ran its Financial Reporting and Internal Audit Groups; five years with Equitable Real Estate, where he asset managed Equitable's New York portfolio; and seven years with The Shorenstein Company, where he oversaw its MetLife and Yale University Endowment Fund business in New York as well as various Shorenstein assets on the east coast.
