W'chester Marriott sold

Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels announced the sale of the Westchester Marriott to Northview Hotel Group, LLC for $64 million, according to published reports.

The hotel, located 30 minutes from New York City, benefits from tremendous levels of corporate and group demand generated by the 140 million square feet of office space in Westchester County and southern Connecticut.

"The property just recently completed a major renovation that transformed the hotel into a best-inclass asset," said Amelia Lim, senior vice president, Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels.

Added Alan Tantleff, executive vice president, Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels. "There is very strong demand for hotels in suburban New York due to the strong fundamentals and the limited land for future hotel construction."
