6,000 s/f lease expansion in the Garment District

Winoker Realty Company negotiated a 6,000 s/f lease expansion by VCS Group at 141 West 36th Street in Manhattan's Garment District.
Corey Abdo, senior vice president at Winoker Realty, negotiated on behalf of the landlord, Brause Realty Inc.
The lease expansion--which encompasses an entire floor of the 22-story building--carries a four-year, 11-month term. The building has asking rents of $34 per square foot.
"Anytime a tenant expands, the Landlord is happy," said Abdo. "When a tenant doubles in size it means they have found a winning formula and the Landlord is very happy."
141 West 36th Street, a showroom style building, was constructed in 1912 and offers 132,000 square feet of space, complete with high ceilings, oversized windows, and a renovated lobby.
