Broad Street Development signs new leases at 370 Lexington Ave

Real Estate Weekly,  July 11, 2007

Broad Street Development, owners of 370 Lexington Avenue, recently completed nine new leases at the Midtown office building located just steps from Grand Central Station.

New and existing tenants have committed to more than 13,000 s/f at the popular office property.

370 Lexington continues to undergo several capital improvements, further enhancing the building's greatest features such as the grand lobby, its flexible and functional space, tenant-accessible conference center and views of the Manhattan skyline.

Among the newest tenants to join the roster are: Arthur Chernick, an insurance company, signed a 3,550s/f lease on the fourteenth floor; Great American Insurance committed to 2,314 s/f on the fifth floor; Execuzen, a financial recruitment firm, signed a 2,145 s/f lease on the sixth floor; ProHealth Pharmacy, a professional consulting and staffing company specializing in the pharmacy industry leased 1,532 s/f of retail space on the ground floor; Raybin Associates, a management consulting firm, signed a 1,073 s/f lease on the fourth floor; The Book Industry Study Group, a nonprofit research group comprised of organizations from the publishing industry, leased 1,021 s/f.

"370 Lexington has become one of the most popular Midtown buildings to lease office space, due to the recent capital improvements and our ability to fulfill a wide-range of space needs, from full floors of over 10,000 square feet to smaller units as low as 1,000 square feet," stated David Israni, associate managing director of BSD, responsible for the leasing activity at 370 Lexington and an instrumental part of the building's success.

"370 Lexington's ongoing renovations are helping attract new tenants while also maintaining our existing tenants, who are promptly renewing their leases," said Raymond Chalme, principal of BSD "The demand for quality office space throughout Midtown continues to grow and our property offers the ideal solution for users looking for space in the heart of this district."
