South Charleston Cigar Factory sale

NEW YORK, NY: Broad Street Advisors, LLC of New York announced the sale of Cigar Factory, a 230,012 s/f historic building in Downtown Charleston.

Built in 1881 as a cotton mill, the Cigar Factory is located at 701 East Bay Street in Charleston's historic Upper East Side near the foot of the recently completed Cooper River Bridge.

The property has been operated as an office building for the last 25 years, however the buyer plans an extensive redevelopment to residential condominiums.

Broad Street Advisors was the exclusive advisor for the seller, IGL Two LLC, an entity affiliated with Jupiter Realty Corporation. Robert Rizzi, executive vice president and partner at Broad Street, handled the transaction. The buyer was The Simpson Organization, Inc.
