Law firm renews 64,000 s/f lease

In a transaction that will enable Emmet, Marvin & Martin LLP, one of the oldest law firms in the United States, to remain in its New York City headquarters at 120 Broadway, the firm has renewed its 64,000 s/f lease for another 12 years.
"Our client has occupied the 33nd and 33rd floors of the 40-story building for the past 15 years," said Studley's Howard Nottingham, executive managing director of the international commercial real estate services firm.
In addition to Nottingham, Studley's David Goldstein and Matthew Barlow, both executive vice presidents, and Jeffrey Peck, corporate managing director, represented Emmet Marvin in the renewal. Roger Silverstein represented the landlord Silverstein Properties.
Emmet, Marvin & Martin, LLP is part of an impressive roster of tenants at 120 Broadway including Banco Popular; Spear Leeds & Kellogg; New York State Attorney General; and Tower Group.
Charles Salfeld Esq. of Morrison Cohen represented the tenant, while Jonathan Bright Esq. and Jeffrey A. Samuels Esq. of Siller Wilk LLP represented the landlord.
