After Russian President Vladimir Putin called on his nation's women to have more children, journalist Vladimir Rakhmankov wrote a satiric article calling Putin "the nation's phallic symbol." Prosecutors have charged him with insulting a representative of the state; if convicted, he faces up to a year's hard labor.
