Those who can't get enough of MICHAEL JACKSON's classic grooves and agile moves can bask in knowing that the Thriller-25th Anniversary Edition (Sony/BMG/Legacy) is now available. Yes, classic favorites from the best-selling album of all time are all there: the bouncy, body-moving "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" and easy-flowing "The Girl Is Mine," on which he duels with Paul McCartney, as well as the still evocative "Thriller," the delightfully threatening "Beat It," the exuberant "Billie Jean;' and still beautiful "Human Nature." The CD also offers Vincent Price excerpts from the Thriller voice-over session and six unreleased tracks. Those include 2008 will.i.am remixes of "The Girl is Mine" and "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing);' "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' 2008" with Akon, Kanye West remix of "Billie Jean 2008," and "Beat It 2008" with Fergie. To top off this musical package, there is also "For All Time," a rare unreleased cut from the original Thriller recording session, newly mixed and mastered by Michael Jackson himself. Included in the package is a bonus DVD with several digitally restored short films and Jackson's dazzling 1983 performance from the Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever anniversary TV broadcast. This collection is a must-have for pop music fans of all ages.
