Submit your photographs for the president's photo project

President Paula Graling, RN, MSN, CNS, CNOR, is caking for AORN chapters, specialty assemblies, and state councils to select and submit up to five photographs for the President's Photo Project. The photographs will be used for the preprocessional video during the 54th AORN Congress Opening Session on March 11, 2007, in Orlando. The video will include as many of the submitted photographs as time permits.

Chapter presidents and the chairs of specialty assemblies and state councils should submit no more than five digital images or snapshots. The name or number of the chapter, specialty assembly, or state council should be included with the photographs as an attachment for identification purposes; do not write on or add any text to the photographs themselves. Digital images should be in JPG (ie, "jpeg,') format and should have a resolution of 300 dots per inch or better. Each photograph should be submitted in a separate JPG file rather than embedded into a Word document or the body of an e-mail; embedded photographs cannot be used. Snapshots also will be accepted, but they should be of very good quality because the photographs may Lose some clarity when they are scanned into a digital format.

All photographs must be received at AORN no Later than Friday, Jan 12, 2007. Digital photographs can be submitted as attachments to an e-mail and sent to pictures@aorn.org. Digital photographs saved to CD-ROM or snapshots can be mailed to AORN--President's Photo Project, Attn: Mary Howell Lopez, 2170 S Parker Rd, Suite 300, Denver, CO 80231.
