The 2005 Congress Education Planning Committee, whose members are appointed by AORN President Sharon McNamara, RN, MS, CNOR, reviewed more than 225 Congress proposal and identified the programs that best reflect various needs assessments, recent regulatory issues, and trends in perioperative nursing. The committee also reviewed and evaluated more than 120 Clinical Improvement/ Innovation abstract submissions and developed a tool to evaluate the posters 2at Congress to select the top 10 Clinical Improvement / Innovation posters.
