dot-coms - hopes that 2001 will be better to Internet companies than 2000 - Brief Article

Since 2000 was such a brutal year for so many dot-coms, let's hope the coming year will give surviving e-businesses--especially the good ones--the chance to prove themselves worthy of a place in the new, new economy. After all, despite last year's hype and over-valuation of stocks, there was and continues to be true value in companies that take those first steps into the Net's new frontier.

Today brings the opportunity to refocus and start anew. Just because some things failed doesn't mean we should throw out the baby with the bathwater.
