Hold the milk, help the heart

The next time you fix a cup of hot tea, skip the milk if you want to get all its heart-healthy benefits. German researchers found that the circulatory benefits of black tea were nullified when milk was added, due to proteins in milk called caseins. Further research is needed to determine if milk in tea also limits the beverage's cancer-fighting capabilities.
