Keep orange juice in the refrigerator for too long, and it loses its nutritional value. That's the conclusion of a. study in the April 2002 issue of the Journal of t h e American Dietetic Association. Some ready-to-drink varieties lost all of their vitamin C content within a month of being opened, the researchers discovered.
Nutritionists recommend consuming juice within one week of purchase.
