I love mojitos, and the ones sold at Dragon Fly Neo-V Cuisine in Columbus, Ohio (614.298.9986) are superb. Chef and owner Magdiale Wolmark is creating some of the finest plant-based cuisine in the country. Along with the mojitos, I adore the Bangkok Martinis with lemongrass-infused citron and a ginger splash.
Menu highlights include a spinach salad with chile lime tempeh, grilled banana and red onion with a gunpowder green tea ranch dressing. Pickled Shiso Tofu Bi Bim Bop, a curry dish, is served with sticky rice. And the Grilled Portabella Medianoche sandwiches come with house pickles on blue corn brioche and Cuban black bean soup. Committed to sustainable ingredients, Chef Magdiale even makes his own dairy-free chocolate gelato.
